Tiwa Savage Goes International;Signs with JayZ's Roc Nation & Features on E!

Nigeria music star Tiwa Savage have proved to the world that she is indeed a strong African woman that lives above negativity. One would think her much publicized failed marriage to her ex manager, Tunji Balogun would slow her down but Ms Savage isn't taking any chances and this is quite evident in her career as she  is waxing stronger in her chosen field.

The 'Mavin Record' first lady have succeeded in putting ink on paper on an international contract as she just signed a management and publishing deal with American rapper, JayZ's Roc Nation. The excited singer took to her Instagram page two days ago to share the photo above with this caption "Mavin X Roc Nation". Her record boss, Donjazzy also posted a picture with a similar caption.

This is such great feat not just for the singer but for the brand (Mavin) she represents and Africa as a whole. Roc Nation is home to many international superstars including Rihanna, Big Sean and DJ Khaled and signing with such reputable organisation would sure lead to her career advancement and has put her feet on the international scene. Besides the record boss, JayZ is always dedicated to his artiste which is a plus to Tiwa's musical advancement.

Whilst we were still trying to digest such great feat, the music star took to her Instagram page to announce that  she will be featuring on the popular entertainment Television show, E.

The singer is also scheduled to perform at the 'Made in America' concert this September which will be headlined by Rihanna. Who knows; a collaboration between these two maybe in the offing in the nearest future.

This just goes to show how focused and determined Ms savage is. It is such a breathe of fresh air to see someone who is not letting situations and circumstances determine her pace in life.

As Tiwa Savage continues to add more feathers to her catalogue and profile, I hope and prays she keeps her head high so she doesn't add to the list of 'failed Nigerians that went international' which has Dbanj as top on the list.
