36 years old Onyekachi Ankle (pictured above) allegedly slapped his wife of four years, Chikordi Anele to her death, at their home in Owerri, Imo State.
According to Mr Anele, the wife asked him to give his step son N100 and he said he didn't have money. His response got the wife angry. She started to insult him, he angrily slapped her which she retaliated. He claimed to be shocked at her effrontery and slapped her again. Unfortunately she fainted and lost her life and sadly we can't hear her own side of the story.
I am all shade of pissed. We keep preaching domestic violence on a daily basis but it seems no one is listening. I just hope the lady gets the justice she deserves.
