United States based Ghanaian man, Dr Kulah is accusing star actor, Van Vicker of sleeping with his wife, Dr (Ms) Clarice Ford-Kulah under the disguise of working on movie projects together. He claims to have photos and video evidence of his wife and Van engaging in sexual acts and is threatening to release the evidence if they do not desist from such evil acts.
In a swift response, Ms Clarice rubbished her husband's allegations as unfounded and untrue. She attributed the baseless accusations, to her husband's security and medical issues. She claims her husband medical issues as a result of a recent accident has made him paranoid. She alleges that he has also been harassing her other male friends and acquaintances including Pastors, Deacons and Ministers.
Accusations and counter accusations! I honestly don't care who is wrong or right, but what I can say is that, this is definitely not the right way to go about it, considering the fact they have two kids between them. If Mr Kulah thinks his wife is cheating on him, I think he should be sorting it out with his wife and not on social media because social media have a way of compounding issues and besides the internet never forgets.
As much as I wouldn't want to be the judge and jury of this issue, I can't help but wonder why African male movie stars are always in the middle of adultery allegations and controversies. Just recently Chidi Mokeme was accused of putting a married woman in the family way. Emeka Ike and Jim Iyke have also had their share of adultery scandals and many others. Sadly over 90 percents of the 'accused' movie stars are married men with children who look up to them.
I think all parties involved in this mess should find a way of taking the issue out of social media and silently put it to rest. Releasing the photos and video evidence would only compound things for Kulah and Van's families as Van Vicker is a married man with three kids. At the end of the madness, its the children that suffers the psychological and emotional trauma, if the center can no longer hold water.
Marriage is sacred and its sanctity should be respected by all regardless of whether one is a celebrity or not. A word is enough for the wise!
